OPENING OF TENANT ELECTRICITY ACCOUNT

  
  DOCUMENTS REQUIRED


  1. Completed and signed Account Opening application form
  2. Copy of NRIC or passport of applicant
  3. Copy of ACRA Biz. Profile
  4. Proof of Tenancy/Ownership (e.g. copy of 1st & last page of Tenancy Agreement, letter of Undertaking & Indemnity)
  5. Completed and signed GIRO form
 
ACCOUNT OPENING PROCEDURE


Step 1
Tenants must complete Part 1 of the Application form and prepare the security deposit cheque. Mail the Application form along with the supporting documents and Security Deposit cheque to:

Step 2
Seraya Energy will process your application within 3 working days upon receipt of Account opening form, all supporting documents and Security deposit cheque. Once your application has been approved, Seraya Energy will fax/email a copy of your Application form with your Seraya Energy account number to the applicant.

Step 3
Tenant to liase with Building management office/LEW with the approved form from Seraya Energy for electricity supply turn-on.

Step 4
Receive your first Seraya Energy bills approximately 1 month after meter turn-on.


* note: Account opening application with insufficient documents (1 to 4) will not be processed.

1. How much is the Security deposit ?   

The initial security deposit will be a minimum of SGD500 (for Retail) and SGD2,000 (for F&B) business during account opening.  Security Deposit amount will be reviewed quarterly and tenants must maintain it at an amount not less than 1.5 times (for GIRO payment ) or 2 times (for non-GIRO payment) of monthly electricity charges.

3. To whom should I pay my electricity bills every month and what are the modes of payment available?   

Customer shall pay the monthly bills to Seraya Energy.  GIRO is the most convenient way to pay your bills on time without the hassle of using cheques. Cheques should be made payable to Seraya Energy Pte Ltd. Please indicate your Seraya Energy account no. at the back of your cheque. You can also pay your bills via AXS stations with 750 machines island wide and it is accessible 24/7.
